After hours emergencies
At Paws on Fraser Veterinary Hospital we understand your pet may need veterinary care at any given time. If an emergency arises and your pet requires immediate attention after hours we recommend you take you pet directly to:

If you are unsure whether your pet’s concern is an emergency, we have teamed up with a Canadian, veterinarian-led company named Smart.Vet to allow us to offer our clients 24/7 after hours access to consultations with BC licensed veterinarians. Simply call Smart.Vet at 778.743.4351 where you will reach a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) that will triage your situation. There is NO cost to you for this triage service. The RVT will either direct you to the nearest in person emergency care facility or set up a virtual consultation with one of their on-call veterinarians. There will be a consultation fee through Smart.Vet if you set up a virtual consultation.
Either way, Paws on Fraser Veterinary Hospital will have direct access to these records, ensuring we stay informed about all your concerns.
